All Ministries

Christ Community Church is an outreaching, celebrating, learning, connecting and caring community.  Our members are engaging in serving within our church and in our surrounding communities.  On this page you will find the purpose statements of our ministries.  Some are designed to build up members of the Body of Christ, some are designed to build up our surrounding communities.  All are designed to bring glory to God.

Evangelism & Outreach Ministries

Evangelism

To share the gospel of Jesus Christ, proclaiming the good news of salvation, Holy Spirit empowerment and kingdom service for the transformation of people and communities.

Nursing Home

To reach out to those confined to nursing homes and unable to attend service, to bring fellowship and compassion to a community of disabled residents and to minister the gift of salvation.

Outreach

To give to and assist causes and/or agencies that assist people in need.

Holiday Food Drives

To provide meals for families during the holidays either directly or in concert with local agencies such as food pantries or grocery stores.

Worship Ministries

Communion

To bring the people into remembrance of the great sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf.

Baptism

To prepare candidates for the solemn and sacred ceremony of water baptism.   Baptisms are held every 5th Sunday. Call the office to be put in touch with the baptismal ministry team.

Prayer

“Nothing is impossible for them who believe”.  A praying church is a powerful church and at CCC we boldly approach the throne of grace for our church, communities and nation.  A member of the Prayer Team is available to pray with you after each Sunday service.  Prayer services are held on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.  Visit our Prayer Resources page.

Praise Ensemble

To lead the congregation in songs of praise and worship of our Lord and thus set the atmosphere for the Presence of the Holy Spirit and prepare hearts to receive the Word of God.

Liturgical Praise Dancers

To exalt the Lord and minister to the congregation through the sacred art of liturgical dance.

Greeters

To provide an enthusiastic, positive, spiritual and friendly welcome to each person entering Christ Community Church before worship services and special services.

Ushers

To protect the sacred atmosphere of our worship service by providing direction and order to members throughout the service, including assisting with seating, receiving offering, and distributing bulletins

Audio-Visual

To aid in lifting and worship through audio and visual communications.  The Audio Visual Team Member serves uniquely by performing all audio- visual and lighting aspects of Worship Services, special meetings, plays, weddings, and other special events.  We also prepare and present PowerPoint slides for worship services.  Email questions to .

Christian Education Ministries

Church School

Church School is the focal point of our christian education program.  Meeting on Sundays from 8:45am – 10:00am, we have bible-based classes for adults, teens and children.  Our purpose is to study and apply scriptures, advance the church’s mission, vision and core values, spread the good news, and encourage attendance and worship at all church activities.  Email questions to

Weekly Congregational Bible Study

To provide systematic study of scriptures to enhance spiritual growth and successful daily living.  Morning Manna is our Tuesday morning worship and bible study.  Designed for people who work at night or are otherwise not available to attend the Wednesday night bible study.

Fellowship Ministries

Men

To empower men through a Christ-Centered brotherhood relentlessly focused on restoring the hope and purpose God intended for our families, church and community.  The Men’s Ministry meets every first Saturday of the month for a monthly prayer breakfast and discussion of real topics real men face, as well as a series of ministry events throughout the year with men's interests in mind.  We have a weekly prayer call every Monday morning at 7:30am.  Email questions to .

Women

To develop transformative women who make a difference in our homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods to the glory of God.  The Women’s Ministry’s group, Lydia’s Circle, meets every 3rd Saturday for teaching, empowerment and/or outreach.  We have a weekly prayer call every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am.  Email questions to .

Children

To teach and empower children with the word of God- as well as provide space for them to fellowship one with another.  We host age appropriate classes for children during Church School and children worship together in Children’s church (held concurrent to Morning worship) where they are led in age appropriate worship and taught vital lessons.

Youth (Teens)

To connect with the teens, helping them to understand the word of God and provide guidance for Christian living in the contemporary culture.  Teens (ages 12-18)  join us in worship every Sunday and actively participate every third Sunday, where they serve as ushers, greeters, read the announcements, sing in the youth choir, along with the young adults and children’s troupe, and minister through praise dance.  Email questions to .

Young Adults

To connect with young adult Christians, helping them to apply and live out the word of God in the contemporary culture.

Mother’s Board

To celebrate the seniors of CCC and to encourage them to become involved in various ministries of the church.

Health and Wellness

To provide education and awareness around health issues that affect our communities, as well as to provide resources and support in living a healthy lifestyle.

Care and Support Ministries

Ministerial Care Visitation

To provide a point of ministerial connection and prayer for members who are hospitalized.  To notify the Church of a hospitalization and request a ministerial visit, please call the church office.

Funeral & Bereavement

To provide guidance for funeral services that support the bereaved and honor members who have passed on.

Wedding Coordination

To provide guidance for couples to plan and execute their marriage ceremony with dignity and honor. To request premarital counseling contact the church office.

Samaritan’s Hands/
Just Checking

To provide follow up and connection for members who have been absent from church for a season.

Grief Support Group

To provide grief support to people experiencing loss.

Administration and Operations Ministries

Information Technology (IT)

To manage the information technology, equipment and software needed for CCC Ministries.

Communication & Media

To manage the internal and external communication of CCC including maintaining our presence on Social media.

Kitchen & Food Services

To maintain the health and safety of our kitchen as well as provide loving, delicious meals for our members. We also hosts other food-related events that take place at CCC.

King Bookstore

The King Bookstore provides resources such as books, tapes and other materials that strengthen the Christian walk of Believers.  The King Bookstore is open after each Sunday Service @ 12:45 PM.

Decorating Team

To beautify God’s House.

Beautification

To augment the CCC grounds with flowers and landscaping.

Finance

To accurately record, track and report all contributions and expenses; to ensure timely deposits and withdrawals of God’s resources; to certify compliance with reporting requirements; to determine methods to streamline the process and maximize the Church’s financial well-being.  Email questions to .

Leadership Development
Ministry Team

To develop the leadership capacity of Christ Community Church by equipping servant leaders with the knowledge and skills to lead the ministries of the church and beyond.

Volunteer Management Ministry

To identify, train and mobilize members into serving in ministry as servant-volunteers.
